Little Wonder/ Author
I love it when my students go to a center and make cards and start writing. My first little author bloomed today, what a wonder she is. The best part about it was I didn't have to tell her she was an author, she told me! Love my wonders, they make my day!

LOVE the post about clean up songs- one year, our clean up song was Sussudio by Phil Collins. Upbeat and energizing, our room was spic and span every day. During conferences, several parents asked how I was able to get the kids to clean when they couldn't get them to clean their rooms at home. I told them what our clean up song was, which they then promptly dug out of their own c.d. collection (waaaaayyyyyyy before iTunes!) and turned on at home, much to the kiddos' surprise.
